The proposed construction staging is shown below. Staging plans and schedules are subject to change.
During this stage, we will widen Farmington Road on the north side, shown light orange on the map below. Traffic will continue as normal, with intermittent lane closures during non-peak hours.
Farmington Road lanes will be shifted north. During this stage, we will realign River Road and build the southern "leg" of the roundabout. River Road will be closed south of Farmington Road. Access will be maintained to private properties.
Eastbound Farmington Road traffic will shift to the south. During this stage, we build the majority of the roundabout and install the stormwater treatment swale. Traffic will be open in all directions with intermittent lane closures during non-peak hours.
During this phase, we will build the north leg of the roundabout and complete final construction. River Road will be closed north of Farmington Road.
